Our Story

Interior Designer Rebecca Larkin has been dedicated to collecting beautiful things from an early age. Her parents owned an Antique Shop in Hurstville when she was a child. It was this that gave her a passion for beautiful eclectic pieces. Along with her years in the design and decorating industry her childhood dream of opening her own retail store was the natural next step, and in May 2015, Blackheath Interiors and Homewares was born.

The store was nestled inside a beautiful historic building in the heart of Blackheath, and what started off as a core furniture and homewares store soon evolved into a design hub which offered custom made services included window treatments, upholstering & custom made furniture.

In early 2023, we expended our store and relocated to a beautiful historic commercial premised in the heart of Leura Mall.

The larger premises allowed us to expand our successful retail offerings and double the size of our already extensive fabric showroom.

A research trip to Italy prior to opening the new store inspired us to re-brand as La Bella Casa Interiors.

La Bella Casa translates as 'The Beautiful Home', and when you walk into our store, we hope you will be inspired by the colours, textures and layers carefully procured and passionately combined to help you create exactly that.........a Beautiful Home.
