Care Instructions

  • We recommend a non-slip underlay should always be placed under rugs. It will stop the rug slipping, create more depth underfoot and lessen wear on the rug.
  • It also prevents the risk of dye transfer to the under surface and helps protect timber flooring.
  • Treat spots and spills immediately with a damp, undyed absorbent cloth or paper towel. Use warm water. Do not soak the area. Do not use soap or detergents.
  • If stain remains, contact a professional rug cleaner. Do not scrub the fibres.
  • Vacuum regularly with low suction.
  • Avoid direct sunlight. Regularly rotate to ensure even wear.
  • Use professional rug cleaners only who have experience with the fibre composition.
  • Shedding from new rugs is to be expected and will reduce with time.
  • Due to the handcrafted nature of rugs, variations in size and colour may occur between samples and goods received.

Spot treatment:

  • We recommend treating spots and spills immediately with warm water and paper towel.
  • If the stain persists, contact a professional rug cleaner as soon as possible.
  • Do not scrub rugs as it may cause permanent pile damage.
